i'm having a skin problem on my face - ance's scars
this matter bothering me for a long time,i'm 24,male,oily skin,
are there any way to fix it or cure it,i'm not expecting 100% fix,just nid to have some improvement
main affected areas are on my cheeks,
are there any medicine or something else that i can take or apply to reduce my scars?
or make my face skin getting better?

doxycycline 100mg bd for 1 month is effective. In addition, you can try topical retinoid to reduce scaring.

Severity and type of acne                   Recommended treatment

Mild acne                                           Topical retinoid at night plus
   <30 lesions                                      BP/clindamycin or
                                                        BP/erythromycin in the
                                                        morning. Consider OC.

How do you find this forum by the way?

Anyway, the regime that you found on google is similar to what our member drjoe has suggested. retinoid is to reduce scarring any clindamycin like doxycycline is an antibiotic to overcome the infection

thanks for answering my question.

btw,i'm doubt bout something,
that is,before i apply the retinoid to the affected area,should i use a specific facial washer or just a normal facial cleaner? Huh?

Your sebaceous gland might be working excessively.  It also has to do something with your hormones.  Acne can cause facial scarring and it can't be treated by creams alone.  It should be penetrated deeply to the dermis, lasers now a days is one of the remedy.
