Unfortunately, I'm allergic to lobster & crab. Oddly, I have no allergic reaction to shrimp, crab rangoon, crab cakes, or clam chowder. I'm considering taking glucosamine & chondroitin for joint pain relief. However, these supplements are derived from shell fish. QUESTION: Might there be a "safe" daily dosage of glucosamine & chondroitin ( i.e., 1500 mg each)  for an individual such as myself that would likely NOT trigger an immune response?
