"Coconut water is the very stuff of Nature, biologically Pure, full of Natural Sugars, Salts, and Vitamins to ward off fatigue... and is the next wave of energy drinks BUT natural!", according to Mortin Satin, Chielf of the United Nation's Food & Agriculture Organization.
Coconut water contains more potassium (at about 294 mg) than most sports drinks (117 mg) and most energy drinks.
Coconut water has less sodium (25mg) where sports drinks have around 41mg and energy drinks have about 200 mg!
Coconut water has 5mg of Natural Sugars where sports and energy drinks range from 10-25mg of Altered Sugars.

This sounds like an excellent suggestion and I'm going to give it a shot. My question is if it is economical? Do you have any suggestions on brands that are widely carried, maybe also the most efficient least expensive brands or places you know of ...?

Believe me folks, when i say that " Coconut water is God's own flavored drink". Jolly55 has given a good summary of the benefits. I would like to give here the composition of coconut water and add something more.
Composition of Coconut Water.
· Coconut water is 95.5% water. The rest is
· Nitrogen.
· Phosphoric acid.
· Lauric acid.
· Sodium.
· Potassium.
· Calcium.
· Magnesium oxide.
· Iron.
· Reducing sugar.
· Low content of carbohydrate.
· 99% Fat free. No cholesterol.
· Low calorie content.
Now let us understand this:
Coconut water has anti viral, anti bacterial due to its lauric acid content. These properties help in fighting viruses and building your resistance against Dengue, Chicken guniya, Herpes and Aids.
Weight loss is promoted by coconut water due to its promoting the thyroid gland to maintain the metabolism to its optimum level.
Drinking coconut water daily promotes a healthier skin and a skin glow by helping in getting rid of toxins through the bowels and the urinary tract. In short, it helps in detoxification.
