Any home remedies for headaches? I don't want to be dependent to pain relievers.

Research scientists tell us that almonds contain salicylates, the pain-relieving ingredient in aspirin. Eat 15 raw almonds to do the work of one aspirin. While it may take a little longer for the headache to vanish, you won't run the risk of side effects. (What the scientists need to find now are fast-acting almonds.

Focus on your breathing is a great way to reduce headache. This is a easy  way to help reduce stress. When people are in pain, they often take shallow breaths, which can only serve to cause you to tense up. By taking deep, slow breaths, you are forcing yourself to relax.

If you have frequent headaches, it is important to identify what might be causing them. Headache can be easily prevented by changing foodm habits. Food allergies and sensitivities often trigger an attack; eliminating them may eliminate most painful headaches.
