Since I love eating smoked foods, my friends warned me to take it slowly because it has bad effects. I would really appreciate if someone could possibly explain me about the effects of smoked foods.

Smoking Preserve partly by drying, partly by incorporation of substances from smoke. Eating a lot of smoked foods has been linked with some cancers in some parts of the world.

eating grilled foods may increase the risk of having cancer or may trigger if you already have one. actually it's not just meat we're talking about here but any food that has been cooked by fire or coal.

I agree, Karoline2010 . Even that I know I shouldn't eat that much, I can stop myself. Ok, I'm not eating in excess... but I never refuse them.
