Hawthorne is a wonderful and trusted cardiac tonic that is used to lower blood pressure, reduce cholesterol and significantly enhance blood circulation to the heart and brain. It is used to strengthen the heart and relieve angina, myocarditis (inflamed heart) and arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat).

As mentioned by Amanda, Hawthorne is used in Hypertension because it helps to reduce the blood pressure by dilating the blood vessels. It also increases the efficiency of the heart.
It also contributes positively to reduce weight by increasing the metabolic activity. As you know, the glucose in the blood is converted into energy and rest is stored as fat, to be converted when required. Due to Hawthorne increasing the metabolic activity in the body, more energy is required by the body. And therefore, more stored fat is converted into energy. This therefore reduces the amount of fat in the body and thereby the weight.
This is the basic principal how Hawthorne works. Hawthorne berry herbal liquid is available and used in many parts of Europe.
Please note, however, that just taking Hawthorne alone will not help in reducing weight. Other regimens of weight loss, such as a proper diet and exercise have to be followed. Hawthorne will contribute positively to get early results.
To know the basics of weight loss, the diet to lose weight, the calories in our various food and the exercises to lose weight fast, you could go www.mediconweb.com, click on topics and then go to the above mentioned weight loss articles.
