ASHTMA REMEDIES
I have noticed that no one has ever talked about asthma here. My uncle suffers from asthma and I thought I could get some information about asthma here but Oops!! There is no information about asthma here. Never mind I’ll start one. I would really appreciate if you guys could share your remedies about asthma here. My uncle uses
bronchoSoothe
; it’s is composed of tissue salts. He told me that ever since he has started using this medicine he hasn’t felt that need to use his pump. I guess it must be really good this medicines.

Hope that this could help. There are two general types of asthma medication which can give you long-term control or quick relief of symptoms.
The Anti-inflammatory drugs. This is the most important type of therapy for most people with asthma because these asthma medications prevent asthma attacks on an ongoing basis. Steroids, also called "corticosteroids," are an important type of anti-inflammatory medication for people suffering from asthma. These asthma medications reduce swelling and mucus production in the airways. As a result, airways are less sensitive and less likely to react to triggers.
The Bronchodilators. These asthma medications relieve the symptoms of asthma by relaxing the muscle bands that tighten around the airways. This action rapidly opens the airways, letting more air come in and out of the lungs. As a result, breathing improves. Bronchodilators also help clear mucus from the lungs. As the airways open, the mucus moves more freely and can be coughed out more easily.

I was diagnosed with asthma around the age of 7. I am 34 now and I have to say my asthma is much more controlled now because of the advancement of medicines. When I was first diagnosed, I was only given a rescue inhaler which was ventolin. When I started wheezing from dust and allergies or from sports, I would take my rescue inhaler and I would stop wheezing. While this worked, I did have to be careful to not use the rescue inhaler too often in a short amount of time as it can be very dangerous and lead to death. About 15 years ago, I started taking anti-inflammatory inhalers that I would take daily. These helped but I was still using my rescue inhaler. Today, I am taking Advair which consists of fluticasone propionate and salmeterol xinafoate. Together these two medicines help prevent inflammation and constriction of the airways. By taking this combo of medicines, I rarely use my rescue inahler. In Europe, the brand name is Seretide.

I haven't heard anything before about tissue salts or anything like that.
Whenever I am having an attack, I am only taking my med which contains salbutamol.. well, ventolin to be exact. But gladly, these attacks rarely happens these past few weeks.
