Does smoking interfere with chemotherapy?

Hi,

I would like to know Does smoking interfere with chemotherapy?. I am having Esophageal cancer.I found a similar question and answer here http://www.caring.com/cancer but not greatly satisfied.
It would be great full .

It is dangerous to smoke while going through treatment. If you are going to smoke during chemo, be sure your doctor is aware of it.
