Hello, i would like some insight about a problem i have in my chest. The left muscle of my pectoral has a deformity in its lower part.
Here is a pic:

The lower part of the left pectoralis major is just flat.
Anyone know any case similar to this?what's this disease?
Note that i have no problem in sports, including chest exercises like the bench press, its an aesthetics problem only.
Is there any surgery to reconstruct the missing muscle?Preferably one that allows me to continue doing sports without impairing my chest strength.

Thank you.

Try consulting to a cosmetic surgeons they do that most the cases.  But you can also try some opinions to your official physician in that way he can refer you to the good one.

Hey man!

Got the exact same deformity on my left chestmuscle. It's as close as identical to yours. How has it turned out for you, found any solution?
Nice to know I'm not the only one!

Hello Guys,

I too have this interesting anomaly on the left side of my chest.  I'm a 29 year old male, who has lived a very normal life, despite the fact that my pediatrician and other doctors have no explanation or insight into my concern. I've always been a little self-conscious when i take off my shirt, but its something that I've learned to live and deal with by remaining confident about myself.

I've tried to build the muscle on that side with weights and I've ask the question about taking supplements and hormone (aka steroids) to induce growth, but those i've spoke with have only suggested cosmetic surgery and won't condone or want any part in other means, typical of western medicine.

Anyways, thats it for now,

I would love to hear about your experience or if anyone can provide any insight we would all appreciate.

Sincerely ,

Mike-e-o
