Intravenous antiobiotic Thailand

Hi everyone,

I am hoping for some ASAP help. I am in Thailand and have taken a fall and have two deep cuts on my arm. The doctor said it was very deep that he had to put stitches inside and 30 stitches outside. Basicaly my question is, l am on a antiobiotic drip and they say they want me to have 3 12 hour cycles of the drip. I want to know if this is necessary or not becase l really want to leave this clinic!!!

So appantly maybe its not an intobiotic, but a sodium chloride solution.

Do you have serious infection? Why are they giving you such a strong antibioticz??

Yes l am eating and drinking normally, they are feeding me quite often. There is no infection, it only happened yesterday. What l am thinking they are waiting for confirmation from travel insurance company before letting me go.. In total they want on the sodium chloride for 3 days..

Looks like they are "over-treating" you..... PERHAPS you should ask the doctor.
