What are contents of the saline nasal spray? If it is only normal saline, it is mainly for moisturising purpose to prevent dryness and cracking of the nasal mucosa.

it is mainly to relieve nasal congestion and for moisturising. Good to continue but I don't think it will cause any harm if you miss one of two doses.
Take care.

One of the rationale why normal saline is used to spray during post operative stage, is preventing the surgical site from forming visible surgical scars. In a hospital setting it is usually used to flush wounds.
