New eye floaters after seeing eye doctor

I went to see an opthamologist and was told that if I see anymore eye floaters I need to let him know. One week after this visit I started seeing more floaters. Except I wasn't sure if I really was seeing more or if I had become hyper aware of the ones I already had.

Three weeks later I went back to the opthamologist for a follow up visit and I told him about these new floaters. He checked my eyes and said nothing had changed since my last visit one month ago. He said if I see anymore floaters I should tell him.

One week after the second visit I developed more floaters.

I find it odd that I developed new floaters one week after seeing this opthamologist on two different occasions. It makes me think he did something to my eyes that caused these floaters. Why would I develop new floaters on two different occasions one week after seeing the opthamologist? This worries me. It's also annoying. I was fine before I went to see him.
