Hi there,

I'm 18 years old, and yes I am a VERY responsible teenage, even if the subject disproves. Anyway.....

I was asked out by a guy who ended up taking advantage of me in the end, but we had sex maybe about 8 times, but he never used a condom. When he asked me if I'd ever have sex without a condom I said, NO! Because I don't want to get pregnant, and I could get even from pre-censored. But I guess he tricked me or something, he said it was lub and that he could control himself.

I don't think he ever cummed inside me, but I'm not sure. But I had 2 periods after the last time we had sex. I know that you can be pregnant, and have some bleeding which can seem like a period, but mine were actally full out REGULAR periods.

About a month ago, I went to visit my ex who is my best friend, and we decided to have sex and such, but he wore a condom. I have not had my period yet, so I am getting a little anxious, and a little confused.

Back in August, I was taken off my birth control, so I'm wondering if my periods are going back to being irregular? The only time my period was regular when I was on the pill, so maybe it's just irregular and I'm worrying for nothing?

Also, in October, I had really bad itching in my vagina, I assumed it was a yeast infection as it was itchy, and the charge was almost cottage cheese-like, so i treated it with monastat and it seemed to go away. when i'm wearing jeans, somestimes i'm itchy, but not to the same extent, its just a little itch that will stop. Could this possibly be an STD? I am thinking of going to the clinic to be checked out for STD's. I have pregnancy tests at home I was going to take by next weekend if I don't get my period....

Any advice or answers? Greatly appreciated.

Well, for your irregular period, it can be due to the contraceptive pills that you are taking. Because the pills contain hormones which take part in your menstruation.

Your vaginal itchiness is mostly vaginal candidiasis. You can try Clotrimazole pessary for 3 nights. Vaginal candidiasis IS NOT a STD but in view of your sexually active lifestyle and unprotected sex, it is better for you to have STD screening.

If you do not wish to get pregnant and minimise risk of STD's, you should opt for barrier method such as condom (male and female). The withdrawal method that you are using IS NOT SAFE AT ALL!

You can do urine pregnancy test but it usually detects pregnancy about 1 week after fertilisation.

Please let me know your urine pregnancy test result. Thanks

Hi there, thanks for the reply Smiley

I am no longer sexually active, because the guy disappeared, and longer story.

I am no longer on birth control pills, which I guess could cause for the irregularity. Before I was on the pill, my period was also irregular, then when I was 16, my doctor put me on Yasmin, but she took me off of it in August. Now I am not on the pill.

I usually ALWAYS use a condom, but the guy manipulated me, but I know next time if a guy doesn't wan to wear a condom, then we're not having sex, and I'm standing by it.

Do you think I should still go to the clinic to be checked for STD's? the only symptom I would have is itching, but I don't have itching, not like it was, and i treated it as a yeast infection. This was about 1.5 months ago... If it were an STD, would it be persistent?

As what kkmalaysia has mentioned, due to your previous history of being sexually active, it is better to go for a STD screening. You itchiness is mostly due to candidiasis and the treatment suggested by our friend should work.  Wink

Yes i agree with them. You better have it check become everything goes wrong. Self-treatment can sometimes go wrong especially if you don't know the main source of the problem.
