and its causes ?

what i think is that people develop splits in their personalities due to various factors running in their immediate environment most dominating of which is a mismatch of materialistic and spiritualistic values

To think in brief everyone has split personality naturally. We grasp and change according to the situation But in rare cases the change may be extreme causing split personality  a severe disease.
