I am a general practitioner but I would like to know if there is any online course in paramedicine.

just very curious.. why Dr. u as a GP, still want take a paramedic course? isnt you know more than them?

In Alberta were I am registared the program I took was an online course, with of course practical skill days, testing days, and class study days, as well of course practicum days and these are the times you have to attend a class. But in general everything else was done on line through web ct. The course takes about 18 months to graduate and then you must pass your provincial examination to registar. I am not sure if you can challenge the EMR & EMT-A levels that come before the EMT-P, you would have to inquire with the provincial examination board to find out.

Yea it is possible to learn paramedical online.The distance-learning courses are available which are flexible and even provide medical terminology, first aid and CPR,Cardiology courses online which provides information on practical emergency medical services.
