what to take for dengue fever

my son have dengue fever of 39.2C but he is acetaminophen allergic, and Im worried because he has febrile seizure in the past.. since NSAID and aspirin are contraindication what can I give him for fever..? any help would be appreciated..

Well, I think the safest method to reduce his temperature now is to perform tepid sponging. Get a wet towel to wel your son's body from time to time.

For Dengue there is no definite treatment or vaccine.Most people dengue fever will recover in about 2 weeks.At your level you can take Tylenol for fever and body aches.

There is no specific treatment for dengue. Persons with dengue fever should rest and drink plenty of fluids. They should be kept away from mosquitoes for the protection of others. Dengue hemorrhagic fever is treated by replacing lost fluids. Some patients need transfusions to control bleeding.

There is no specific treatment for dengue fever but papaya juice is a natural cure for dengue fever.

Dilute vinegar with water and wet a towel from time to time putting it to a forehead. That is the real way to struggle with fever.
