1. There are gene therapy research happening all the time. Below is just one that I have located quickly for you.
Thalagen™: Gene Therapy Treatment for Thalassemia trials will begin in 2008. $3,000,000 will be needed to fund this in its first year. Help fund this by going to http://www.myspace.com/patgirondi
where you can purchase Pat Girondi's CD for $13. All $13 for each CD will go into the fund to finance these trials. Spread the word and ask people to buy the CD. I just bought mine.
2. It will happen, just enjoy life and what you have Smiley
3. People follow by example, if we respect ourselves then they will do so also. I feel you are talking more about how you are treated when trying to tell others about what you are going through? I understand that it can be fustrating, especially when you know what you are going through but can't make others understand.
4. I wish that too
5. One day hopefully if we can get the word out. Takes time but at least you and I can make a start.
I'm very glad that you are here and I will give you moral support anytime Grin
6. I'm working on trying to get my doctors & nurses here. I managed one last night. Still early days.
7. I hope.... for a brighter future Cheesy
