Hello

I am in my early 20's and up untill now i had regular periods, which lasted 7 days. Now they are a few days late, sometimes weeks, last 5 months were also a few days behind, and the color is also a little darker. Thing is, that i started to mastrubate about the same time this started happening, 6 months ago.

2 weeks ago i have penetrated, and the pain is normal i guess, but last time i had period, 3 days ago, i have dropped little blood on my underwear, and i am wondering if something is wrong. I really dont think it is because of my activity, but if it is i would like to know.

I have read a lot of opinions and advices, but i like to get opinions from a wide variety of sources.
Other thing i am worried about is that i started havin periods relatively early, 11 years of age, and my mother at 16, is my biological clock faster? Are there any ways i can know im entering early menopause?

Thanks for any help or advice you can provide  Smiley

First of all, regarding the onset of your menses (menarche), there is a tendency of early menarche for the current generations compared to older generations. Experts think that this might be due to change in diet and lifestyle.

For your "irregular period", it is sometimes normal for tennage girls like you to have irregular menses until the later stage of life.

However, there are also other abnormal conditions that are associated with irregular period for example PCOS: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.

May I know what is your weight?

My weight is 45 kg and im 160 cms high. So my weight is low, and so is my blood pressure, at least i think it is. I dont smoke or drink coffee.

I looked up PCOS, and i dont think i fit the symptoms. However, occasionally i do get brownish or black effluent right after my period, a few days or a week later. If it was a case of a cyst, it wouldnt come after my period, or maybe i am wrong.

Hi

I have some information about Black cohosh which I want to share with you.

Black cohosh has been traditionally used by Native Americans to relieve the physiological changes associated with menopause. Clinical research now suggests that Black Cohosh standardized extract may Enhance reduce the occurrence of undesirable hot flashes.

I hope this information will be useful for you.

Have a nice day.

Menopause is sometimes hereditary. If your mother had an early menopause, then you are likely to follow the pattern.
