My level of HDL (so called "good" cholesterol) is under the recommended level 0.85 !
(level of LDL is ok). I've been told that the only reason for that must be the high intake of
protein trought food..

I'm 21 Y old, have 80kg, going to gym 2-3 times a week, and my daily intake of protein is
100-115g (I take whey protein suplement after training 1serving and that's about it).

What seems to be the problem?! What's wrong with me?!  Embarrassed

Its very difficult to pinpoint certain cause but metabolic syndrome can be one of the possibility in view of your weight. You can try to consume fish oil which is believe to improve lipid profile. But again, healthy diet and exercise is always improtant.

Why do you think high protein intake could cause low HDL?
