Hi. I'm a 23 yr old female. I just got married a few months ago and moved into an apartment in our local town. After about 1 month into the marriage, the town had a problem with its water and no one let us know til a day late... and I must have drank some of the bad water, since a day or two later I started with stomach cramps, constipation, nausea, and fever. Also I had a pretty severe pain in my lower left abdomen, which was relieved by going to the bathroom for short time only. That lasted a few days, and I currently didn't have health insurance so I just waited it out and it went away. Then (as I was in the process of getting it) got health insurance and a few weeks later I got sick with it again, this time it lasted longer and was very severe as I threw up. This time I went to the Dr and I didn't have a fever and he didn't do anything besides have me take a few days off work and gave me some anti nausea pills... I was recovered by the time I had to go back to work and thought this might be over.

However since then, I have been sick four more times... some of the symptoms have gone away (no fever, no stomach cramps, lessened nausea).. but the pain in my abdomen still comes in goes.. and sometimes the constipation and nausea with it. I have noticed sometimes as the pain is leaving my lower left side, sometimes it moves to my middle lower abdomen. I have been to the doctor and have a blood, urine, and stool tests done. They didn't find anything. Then I had a ct scan done, and they found that there was fluid (not related to menstrual cycle) in my uterus as well as exactly where I have been having pain ~ my bowel has been swelling. I also get this lower left (sometimes both sides) back pain before I have a bowel movement, sometimes lasting all day to a few hours. It feels simaliar to the pain in my front so I am assuming it is my intestines swelling. Strangely, a bad rub or sometimes some ben gay helps a little. Anyway, I had seen the practicion for this latest appointment, and he simply told me my test results and suggested getting a pap smear and if I wanted too to see a gastrinologist. At the time I saw I would like to wait and see if i got really sick again, as the last few times it had only lasted a day or two and was very manageable. But then here I am.. just a few days later, with this pain in my side. Has anyone else had anything like this happen, or do you have any ideas/suggestions?
