some lines from another forum i frequent:

dream can be an indicator of one's health - mental health of coz, but some theories suggested physical health as well.

also, dream is a way for the brain to reorganize the day's experiences.

in other words, dreams happen when your brain defrags while you sleep.... its data and info being moved about and organised!

and ever heard of hypnotherapy used to crack dreams?

some parapsychologists believe that dreams offer entry into another universe. the key scientific evidence for this is the distinct brain waves of the various stages of sleep.
